Tumbling Carly

So today I got to take Carly to tumbling for the first time. This is something her & her daddy does together normaly but he couldn't go today. This was the cuttiest thing I've ever seen!! She was so cute & so good!! (not that I'm the mom & I have to say that) I couldn't get over how she is such a different child. She is normaly such a shy kid & doesn't open up that much to change but she DID!! It was so nice to hear all the good things that Miss. Chris (her teacher) had to say about her & how she is doing so good at tumbling. This is someting that I plan on making sure I keep her into & I have to go more often to see this wonderful thing!!

Spongebob Gingerbread House

This was so much fun!! One of the families that I babysit for brought us this gingerbread house today. I've made alot of gingerbread houses over the years with all the different kids in my life. I love making them. But I've never made a Spongebob one. So here is a picture of what it is supost to be from the box.

Here is Molly putting the layers together...again this isn't how I'm use to putting a gingerhouse together. This is so neat!

WOW! What a Sunday!!

We did so much yestureday!! First we went to church where Molly was in her very first Christmas program. It was so cute. We have been practicing for weeks. She did so good.
Then after we were done there we went to Bass Pro to go see Santa. We had a great time the. The girls had so much fun even though Carly didn't want much to do with him. She wouldn't sit on his lap but im sure most of you aren't surprized by that.

Molly's Preschool Party

Molly had her preschool party at preschool on Friday. She had so much fun!! Santa came & saw them & they got to make a bunch of Christmas things. They also had a gift exchange. She took a gift for her teacher & when she was leaving she told me,
"Mom don't worry, if Miss. Jennifer doesn't like it I'll bring it back." She crackes me up.

We took these pictures in front of the Christmas tree & was extreamly happy that the girls were so photogentic!! Carly was eatting up the camra & Molly hasn't ever been shy about taking her picture. I was very happy with our results!!

Prayers needed!!

My family & I just found out last Friday that my step-dad Terry has a tumor on his Adrenal gland above his left kidney. He went to a surgeon today, Dr. Day, to find out what the next steps are going to be. He also has a enlarged valve in his heart. He is going for a colonoscopy & to have a scope run on Wensday. As long as those test go ok then they are planning on surgery on Monday @ 9am. There is a few small things that are going on with this tumor but the all the doctors seem to tell us not to worry. My mother is do ok...I'm just asking for prayers for her & the whole family as this is very difficult for all of us to try to process.

A Very Quiet House!!

My girls went to Alabama yestureday with their "Nana & Pa". They are going to be gone for a week. Although this is a much needed break, I can't believe how quiet the house is. I could have thought a hundred times lastnight that I could hear little feet coming down the hallway. I talked to Donna lastnight & she said that they are doing good. She said that Carly only fussed when they were about 20 minutes from getting to Aunt Nessa's house & she said that she was saying "My house". I have no doubt that Molly will be fine. Carly on the other hand tends to be a homebody. Nana & Pa may not ask to take both girls again for a while after this trip :) Im not sure what to do with all this me time....

Fall Pictures of the Girls

I know that I haven't been the best blogger...and I'm sorry for not being able to keep up better. We are now finally getting pretty much settled & routines are back. For those of you who have children i hope would understand this a lot better. We all have been doing really well & feel very blessed everyday. We went to get the girls pictures done I think they turned out GREAT!! I will be trying much harder to keep this up....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLY!!

Today is Carly Beth's 2nd Birthday! We aren't going to have her party till August 1st due to the move, but she won't know anything different. I just want to make sure I reconized it! Love you Carly!

MOVING!!

It has been crazy here at the Scranton house! We have started to move this weekend. I got most of the painting done in
The girls rooms done. The coming weekend is going to be the big move. We hope to get everything moved this weekend.

Molly's Dance Pictures

Molly had her first dance recital this afternoon. She was so good. I don't have picture from the actual show because they didn't let us take picture during the recital but I did get this back today of her all dressed up. She was so cute!! She was the first one out on stage and she loved it!! It was so hard to watch my baby girl look so grow up and big on that stage. I cried when I first saw her, and her dad told me that he had to hold back the tears too. Rob-Bob and Katie bug made it to the recital too. She was so excited that they came to watch her dance on the stage. Thanks Rob-Bob & Katie Bug for making her day!!

Praying Carly

Carly Beth was sick a few weeks ago. She wouldn't lay down anywhere but on our chests. During this time she fell asleep on me and when I looked down to check on her I couldn't help but to take a picture. I thought that it was so precious. The picture isn't so great because I took it on my phone. But she is still too cute :)

Molly's "Wobble Goggles"

Molly's Nana got her some new things for her pool. She got a new swim suite and some new water goggles. She got to get into her pool this weekend and wanted to put her new things on. I couldn't help but to laugh so hard when she came to me asking for help to put her "Wobble Goggles" on. Then once we got them on, I laughed even harder!! This kid is SOOOOO funny.

We Signed on Offer!!

We are so excited!! We have accepted an offer on the house. It has taken two LONG years to get to this point. We still need to keep our fingers crossed because we still have to go through all the inspections that come with selling the house. Our agent should be calling us in the next few days to let us know when they should be taking place. The buyers have 10 days to get them done. Our estimated closing date is June 22. Then we will have 30 days to move out of the house. Which I don't think that it is going to be any problem to get moved out by then. We are very excited about the move but also kind of sad that we are leaving our first home together. Michael & I bought this house July of 2001 when we got married. We didn't move into it together until we got married in September. This has been the longest I've ever lived in one house. We sure do have some GREAT memories here, but it is time to move on. With our family growing we need more room. I will keep everyone posted as we move forward with this adventure.

Up & Running Again!!

Thank you everyone for all the prayers!! I'm feeling much better and starting to get back into the swing of things again. Thanks Rob for keeping everyone updated for me on your blog. Everything did go good during the surgery. I was just really sore for a few days. I went back to the doctor yesterday for a follow up appointment and he said that I'm doing well and can resume normal activity again. I wont go into all the graphic details about what all they did, but they did find some things we weren't planing on. But we got an all clear for trying to have another baby. I feel so blessed to try for a third child. Althou, it will more than likely be our last, for my body can't handle much more, I still feel very thankful. Again, Thank you Everyone for all the prayers!!

FYI

Yesterday we found out that I'm going to have surgery on Thursday. As some of you may know, I have a very bad case of Endometriosis. I went to the doctor yesterday to have the doctor check me out because I had been having pain on my right side for a few days. He was very concern for I was in such pain that he wants to do surgery because I haven't had a laparoscopy done since 2003. I'm doing a lot better with the new today then I was yesterday. I didn't want to have to do this. I've been putting it off for quiet sometime. But yesterday, thanks to my very best friend Rob ( Love ya girl), she helped me out by going shopping with me for our Mother-Daughter banquet dinner for church this Saturday. That really helped me keep my mind off of it. Also, I'm going tonight to go set up the table so that too will help me keep my mind off of it. When I can, I will post to let you know how things go. Please say a pray for me, and for my husband for he will be taking care of me. Thanks :)

YMCA Kids Health Fair

Last weekend we went to the YMCA Kids Health Fair and had a blast!! Molly got to play in a bounce house, see the inside of a fire truck, get her face painted and even ran in a chicken race. She cracked me up with her sunglasses. She wouldn't take them off for nothing. It was a great day!!

More Showings!!

Ok-so we are having another showing this weekend. This is going to be the 5th one in two weeks. I am trying so hard not to get upset that we haven't had anything good come out of these showings. I would like to think that I've been pretty patient but now it is running really thin. Please any thoughts or prayers would be great!!

House 4 Sale??

Ok-so we have had our house on the market now for 2 years. We have came down on the house quiet a bit and now are at a point where we can't come down anymore. We have done everything that has been suggested to us rather than adding a garage. The one reason we haven't done that is because we wouldn't get the money back for it. We have updated almost every room in the house. It has a new roof and siding on it. Not to mention that we have also put brand new central heat and air too. It is just getting very frustrating because we have a house already picked out to buy. I'm not sure what to do next. I'm pretty much open to any suggestions. It amazes me how people can be so picky about things that they could change themselves, like paint colors. I guess I'm asking for you all to pray that I will get some kind of sign that says that we will soon sell or that we should stay where we are. The bad thing about staying is that we are running out of room and we would like to have another baby. I do have to say that we have more showings in the two months than we have had all winter. So please, if you have a comment or suggestion please let me know, like I said I will try anything.

Molly's Birthday in Georgia!!

Molly had a great birthday here in Georgia. She loves to have parties. When we left to go to Georgia she made me pack up all of her party decorations so that we can decorate down here. She is so funny!!!
After the party was over she was playing with her new "Happy Birthday My Little Pony" set and was singing Happy Birthday to them. She even made me put the birthday table cloth out so they had decorations. Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Craig got her a new Princess Scooter, which she loves. She has been riding it around all over the place. I had bought some small gift for her back at home for her to have down here but I had forgot them, because I hid them so well. So when we got down here I had to go back out and find something for her to open for her birthday. That was a real challenge. I did manage to find a few things one being a Princess CD player.
I was really surprised that I didn't cry on this birthday. I have cried on all of her birthday. I don't know if it was because we were somewhere different or what. I was talking to Michael about this and told him that it is ok that she is turning 4 but I know that when 5 comes around I will be so upset. I know that it is around the corner and will be here before I know it.

Molly @ the Spa!!

I took Molly to a nail salon to get her first manicure and pedicure in Georgia. It was so much fun!! She loved it. Michael said that I am ruining her. The lights in the water in the pedicure chairs changed colors. She was very fascinated by this. The little ladies asked if she would like to get a flower painted on her nails and she was so excited that they could do this. Although, the lady had to re-due her big toe twice. It was a very fun experience and I plan to do this again with her.

Georgia Here We Are!!

So we made it to Georgia!! We are so glad to be here. The trip here was ok! We got to leave around 11 pm. The drive went fairly well except that we hit some traffic in Chattanooga, TN. The was a bad wreck and injuries. We had to sit in non-moving traffic for hours. The girls did ok during this time. The woke up about an hour into it. And of course when Molly woke up the first thing she said was, "Dad I have to pee!!" So Michael had to hold her out the door and let her pee on the interstate. The best part of it was when the traffic started to move again you could see on the road that we must have not been the only ones who needed to pee. We got to Jennifer's house around 10 am. Molly kept on say "Mom I just want to get to Aunt Jennifer's house!!" She didn't understand why the sun was up and we still wasn't there. It was funny to hear her talking about it. The weather here is GREAT!! We are in shorts and t-shirts. The girls are having a blast playing with their cousins and Mom and Dad are enjoying time with Jennifer and Craig. I'm sure I will post more later.
